March Esthetics Program

Enrollment opens February 9th!

Our Esthetics Program is designed to prepare students for a successful career in professional skincare while meeting all State of Alaska licensing requirements. This hands-on program blends foundational theory with extensive practical training to build confidence, skill, and professionalism in today’s esthetics industry.

Students complete a minimum of 350 hours of training, combining classroom instruction and supervised clinical experience. The curriculum includes at least 40 hours of theory, with dedicated instruction in Alaska state law, ensuring students understand both the science of skin care and the professional standards required for licensure.

Throughout the program, students receive in-depth training and hands-on practice in the following areas:

  • Manual Skin Care Techniques
Skin analysis, cleansing, facial treatments, manipulations, packs, and masks.

  • Electrical Modalities
Use of professional electrical equipment and dermal lights for facial and skin-care treatments.

  • Hair Removal and Brow Design
Waxing, tweezing, and depilatory techniques for eyebrow shaping and the removal of unwanted hair.

  • Makeup Artistry
Complete and corrective makeup application, skin analysis, and the application of false eyelashes.

To ensure competency and readiness for professional practice, students must successfully pass a proficiency examination in each subject area upon completion of the program, as required by Alaska regulations.

Graduates of the Esthetics Program are prepared to apply for Alaska esthetician licensure and pursue careers in salons, spas, wellness centers, medical spas, and other skincare-focused environments.
